About Course
Course Duration: 5 Days
This seminar is for lead auditors of ISO 55001:2014 Asset Management Systems and those interested in understanding this perspective.
ISO 55001:2014 is intended to be used for managing physical assets in particular, but it can also be applied to other asset types. It does not specify financial, accounting or technical requirements for managing specific asset types.
This five-day course was developed to cover all requirements of both the ISO 55001:2014. Group exercises and case studies incorporating guidance from the Standard and ISO 55002:2014 “Asset Management – Management Systems – Guidelines for the application of ISO 55001” will be used to develop the required auditing skills. The international auditing guidelines from ISO 19011 including the auditing process and methodologies, e. g., planning and conducting an audit, writing nonconformity statements, preparing an audit summary and report, verifying corrective action, and the process approach are covered. Techniques for leading audit teams will be discussed.
